In-game betting, also called prop bets are bets made during a game. the bets aren’t necessarily about the outcome of the game, but rather the happenings while the game is live. The DraftKings sportsbook mobile app allows players to place bets in real time predicting who will score next or even place bets on player behaviour. Why the State of Michigan?
Michigan is now the 8th state with a mobile sportsbook app from DraftKings. Chief business officer at DraftKings, Ezra Kucharz says after conducting a study, they found that Michigan offers good business opportunities. It was found that a third of its residents had interests in online sportsbetting with many of them having travelled to other states and even countries to do so. But, more than half of the population said they haven’t participated in online betting just yet, which DraftKings saw as a gap in the market.
