"Dance, theater, poetry, art, music and film open new doorways into experiencing
oneself and previously unimagined possibilities of life.
With the ability to envision new possibilities
comes the ability to create change."

~ Emily Nussdorfer

Welcome to Moving Creations! We are a non profit organization whose mission is to promote youth development, leadership, and community revitalization through transformational performances created by teens.

Our goal for 2013: To launch and support our first class of Girls on the Move at Germantown High School.

How you can help: Help support our inaugural class at Germantown High by donating now. Learn more about our exciting Sponsor a Girl campaign by clicking on the Sponsor a Girl on the Move Box on this page! Know someone who wants to help? Our Vision: To use the creative and performing arts and other rites of passage techniques to empower the youth of today to become agents of positive change in their lives, and inspiring and creative leaders in their communities.

Our youth programs strengthen personal identity, while promoting cultural awareness, personal responsibility, and creative participation in community. We offer our programs to catalyze and support new efforts toward synergy and sustainability in our world.

Moving Creations' programming has been made possible by the support of the Philadelphia Foundation, The Valentine Foundation, Bread and Roses, United Way of Southeastern Pennsylvania, The City of Philadelphia's Department of Human Services, The Henrietta Tower Wurts Memorial, The Chase Fund, PNC Bank, The Triskeles Foundation, The University of Pennsylvania, Melody Vision and many generous individual donors.
